Product Description
Hastelloy alloy is made of an enhanced form ofNickel-Chromium-Iron-Molybdenum-Copper Alloy. The content of chromium, cobaltand tungsten provides superior corrosion resistance over Nilo alloys in thecommercial phosphoric acid and typical conditions of oxidizing acids likenitric, hydrochloric, hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids. It prevents theproduction of grain boundary precipitate in the heated zone that makes it fitbest in the welded condition. Hastelloy Alloy I introduced in the followinggrades: HastelloyB-2, Hastelloy B-3, Hastelloy C-4, Hastelloy C-22, HastelloyC276, Hastelloy C-2000,Hastelloy G-30, Hastelloy X.
